As a United Yacht Sales dealer I get great information from my company about exciting news in the Yacht world. I thought I would share some of the information with you. This excerpt is from the August edition of their Rudders Newsletter.

 ” We are thrilled to announce that United Yacht Sales, NJ has been appointed as the authorized dealer for Hatteras and Cabo Yachts. The Hatteras name is one of the most highly respected names in the yachting world. Over the years they have built over 4,000 quality vessels of all sizes. Brunswick Corporation recently sold Hatteras/Cabo Yachts and the assets to a private equity firm. The new owners have one goal in mind:

Return the Hatteras name and product line to the glory years. The commitment has been made and the resources are available to accomplish this goal in short order.

  On our recent trip to the factory in New Bern, North Carolina, we were thoroughly impressed with the facility, their attitude and strides that have been made in just the past several months. The huge, modern facility is humming with close to 400 employees and lots of boats are being built. In final stages of production were two 100‘ motor yachts,

45 Cabo SF, 54 GT SF, 60 MY, 63 GT SF, 70’ GT SF (new model) 77’ SF.

Many more vessels were in the initial phases of production.

  Hatteras has brought back their HATTERASCAL program and their new 63 GT will be arriving in Cape May, NJ, fishing a couple of tournaments this summer before heading south. She is available for your inspection and a demo ride — just give Scott a call. For that matter the HATTERASCAL is available almost anytime to our clients, no matter where she is traveling. She’ll be at the 55th International Fort Lauderdale Boat Show (October 30-November 3, 2014) along with many other new Hatteras and UYS brokerage yachts.
